Short/lighter AF = underdeveloped egg?

Hi again!

I just had a thought when reading about maca helping ovulation etc, and I got to wondering about egg maturation? This was the first cycle my body was actually allowed to produce an egg (since bcp sort of dissipates the egg before it can mature as I've understood)

I just wondered can the egg maturation have anything to do with heaviness of periods? Just a random thought.

no periods heaviness and lightness depends on the lining of your uterus. If it doesn't thicken too much that means light period.
