Should I be concerned....?

hey ladies! I went back to my FS yesterday for a scan to see if I ovulated. Good news, I did ovulate, but thy can still see the egg there. I had a cyst rupture a few days ago, so there was a lot of fluid and they really couldn't get a clear picture. When I got home (about an hour later) I used the bathroom and I couldn't even stand back up off the toilet, I was in so much pain! I was doubled over all evening. DH called the dr and his nurse returned the call and told him that I shouldn't be experiencing any pain at all from a transvaginal u/s, to just take some ibuprofen and sit in a hot bath for a bit. I have done both and still today am in pain. Not as bad as yesterday but still more than uncomfortable with it. I couldn't even scoot on the couch to adjust myself Should I be worried???

im a bit confused, how could they see an egg, an egg is mircoscopic and cannot be seen by scan.

im having ivf and we get monitored every few days and even then they cant tell us how many eggs we have until they take them out,

maybe they told you they could see the follicle?

i cant help with your cyst question, sorry !

If your still in pain then its better to talk to your doctor. Hope everything is OK and u feel better soon.

they found th corpeus luteum

ooh I can help with this, I have just been revising this for an exam. The corpus luteum is the remaining cells of the follicle from which the egg is released, they develop into the gland which is the corpus luteum which secretes estrogen and progesterone. If they found that then that means the egg was released.

AND NO IBUPROFEN BRITT! lol Only take tylenol! It may suck and not work for crap, but no ibuprofen! (And deffff no aspirin!) So how many days left in this 2WW?????
