Should I be worried - reassurance needed

Hi all

Went for an early scan last week due to having 2 previous miscarriages, I was 6 weeks 4 days when I went for my scan, couldn't really see much, sonographer said the sac was in right place but couldn't get a clear enough picture to measure the fetus! When I went up to EPAC after she said not to worry its still possibly to early to see much and another girl who had just been in before me was exactly the same!

I'm going for another scan a week tomorrow so I'll be 8 weeks 1day, I'm just hoping we get to see more this time.

Has anyone experience this before?

What kind of scan was it, abdominal or vaginal? It can still be early and hard to see if it was an abdominal one.

Agree it is hard to see much abdominally. We had to go transvaginally to see anything that early- mainly cause the uterus is so far back...even more so in my case as I have a retroverted uterus or tilted uterus...same thing diff terminology. We had a 6wks scan which turned out to be a 7 week scan cause my dates were wrong. Then we had another at 9 weeks cause of bleeding problems and next one is the nucal scan.

I am in this exact position right now, we went in on Wednesday last week and they saw the sac , measuring 5 weeks ( i made myself 6 weeks) So i came home fully expecting to MC again but nothing has happened and I am getting stronger and stronger lines at home I think it is just really hard to see anything this early try not to worry ( I Know I am the same) i have my rescan on Friday morning FX we both get the news we need xxx

I had both abdominal scan and a transvaginal scan, pretty sure i seen more on the transvaginal but still not a clear enough picture.

Like you Leffy, i keep getting stronger lines on internet cheapie tests.

Also my boobs are alot more sore compared to last week.

Thanks for reassuring me abit more. I just can wait till next tuesday, haha.
