Ladies. Help. I have lightening crotch! It feels like I have lightening bolts going through my vagina randomly. I'm in a bit of pain and have bad back ache. Also getting the flu so I feel generally shitty. I'm concerned about the lightening pain. What do I do?? It hurts :(

hun if you are concerned you should call the doctor - I would if I was experiencing pain like that. I hope everything is okay :hugs: keep us posted

I have no idea what that could be, but you should definitely call the doctor since you're hurting and it's worrying you :hugs: Hopefully it will be nothing, but better to put your mind at rest!

Let us know how it goes! :hugs::hugs::hugs:

:( I'm so freaking annoyed. My dh is away on business coming home tomorrow night, my mom is also away on business, mil is in Europe until Friday and sis in law that is down the street is in NY. Wtf?!! I don't even have anyone to watch dd if u need to go to hospital.... Soo annoyed.

I get them all the time, I wouldn't worry , my doctor says its just the increased blood flow and weight in that area

Is the baby kicking down there? I know when this lil boy flips around and kicks my cervix its a bit painful! Has anyone around you been sick with the flu?

Normal, normal, normal. I got them all through my first pregnancy and they continued even after I had Finn, too. Ive gotten them twice or so with this pregnancy. I refer to them as crotch lightening, haha.

I was it's the cervix just kind of re-positioning.

I've read about "lightning crotch" over and over and over again so I assume that's normal. The only thing that gives me pause is the bit about the backache....but if it were concerning, wouldn't you be having cramps/contractions instead of lightning crotch?

I'm sure it's nothing...

Totally normal. I always felt this way when baby would kick me in the cervix. Not a fun feeling, but its here to stay until you give birth I'm afraid.

I also get this - and although any pain is a bit concerning, I think it's just the baby moving, putting pressure on things.
