Should I get (or ask for) an early scan??

We lost Kasper 6 1/2 weeks ago, so do you think I should get an early scan?

If not, should I request one?

Also, got BFP before first AF after giving birth so not exactly sure on dates...

Yep, my theory is you dont get if you dont ask.

When i got pregnant with Katie i had a scan at 5, 7 and 11 weeks.

The hospital were very helpful.

Just call your consultant and they will try and sort stuff out.

They should give you one for dating purposes, if nothing else- push them until you get one, it will definitely help with some of the worries.

Mine won't give me an early scan so I have found a private clinic localy that scans as early as 6 wks £120 but i think it a small price to pay to make sure everything is ok x

I have my first MW appointment on March 3rd so think im gonna ask about an early scan. I just want to see a scan with Babys HB so I can try and get some of the worries of MC out of the way.

Yes you should definately get an early scan, ask your mw Im sure she will sort something out for you if not then you could go to the epu.
