hi, i am bottle feeding my baby boy who is 4 weeks and 1 day old and for the past week he has been having between 29 and 32oz of SMA first infant milk every day when the recommended is 24oz! Should i keep giving him more than recommended or try hungry baby food for him? Thanks xxx

i put lillie on hungrier baby milk :) if you think its whats best do it xxxx

I would say to stick with what you're on, at least for the moment. Babies tend to have ups and downs with how much they take, and quite often the increase in quantity taken is followed by dropping a bottle - if you're lucky one from the night!

If he stays taking a lot more than the recommendation for a long period of time then it might be an idea to switch, but talk to HV about it first.
