Hi, i have a 2 month old baby and me and his dad aren't together anymore. He wants to be involved and he's constantly texting and calling to see him. I think he's on drugs and always have done, i have also been told by other people that he is taking heroin. He also has a bit of an anger problem. If i say something he doesn't like he'll slam the door or punch a wall. I really don't feel safe with him around my baby even when i'm in the same room as them. He's useless with him he can't even hold him properly he's always dropping his head. I just feel like crying when he's around i want to do whats best by my baby i just don't know what to do! I don't want him in his life at all, is there any legal advice i can get? Can anyone help please? xx

are you in the uk?

go to the cab or a solicitors and get advice hun

:hugs:

You won't be able to stop him from seeing your son but his contact should definitely be supervised? Is there someone who could supervise for you? Your parents? A friend or brother/sister. And would FOB agree to that?

Most solicitors will give you your first consulatation free and depending on your situation you may be entitled to Legal Aid if ever it went to court.

Sorry I'm not much help, I'm sure one of the other ladies will be able to help you though xx

I'm in the same situation and I stopped contact 6 weeks ago and have just recieved contact from his solicitor so it's going to court.

Id go through the legal systems, if he is on drugs and violent they will see that.
