Should suspects names be published to the public

I think its a sign of the times more than anything that newspapers print more gossip and rumour then anything else. Suspects should be given annonymity until the facts are deiscovered what ever happened to 'innocent until proven guilty' nowadays everything turns into a giant witch hunt and they still havent found the culprit who has now decided to put bleach in milk who does that???
