Ok so I'm just over 15 weeks, I'm quite a big girl anyway so haven't got a lil bump or anything but my left hip is getting reasonably painful if I lay or sit in certain ways.......

Should I be a little concerned and go to my doctor? Being pregnant is the only explination I can think of as I've not had this problem before and I've not done anything lately to make it this way either.

He just laughs at me and thinks its amusing watching me trying to get off the floor in pain (its the most comfortable place for me)!!

Stace xx

hey sweet,
this is perfectly normal and nothing to worry about, your ligaments tend to soften all over your body during pregnancy, which is why we are advised to be careful because this means we are more prone to injury. The ligaments around your pelvis will have weakened a little and thats what is causing you pain in your hip, when you move, Just take it easy and relax. It should get better with time xx

I think its normal for being pregnant.. I wake up with inner thigh pains.. which is weird... i think if you do some exercise and walk it off that should help a lot... but I definetly think you should keep it moving.

I have had the same problem with my right hip. As everything else seems to be getting nice and loose, it has really tightened up. It really hurt as well. Over time, it has gotten better. I have found that yoga has helped me deal with it and help it loosen up.

It sounds normal to me, just another of those pregnancy pains. Hope you feel better soon :hugs:

Oooh, my hips hurt all the time! Although I'm a bit further, and have got the extra baby weight on them, but they hurt often. Not comfortable! Hope it eases for you hun, unfortunately it will probably continue to get worse, as you get bigger. Sorry! :hugs:

Aww honey, hip pain is fairly normal and one of the things we have to go through to become a mum
