This is our first time TTC first baby, and my first round of 50mg clomid. My OB said based off my cycle lengths, ranging from 35 - 56 I was not ovulating. I am on CD 18 and I've had pretty bad constipation and then now cramping primarily on my left side, like it hurts if I push to go, or push down on my stomach. I'm just wondering if this goes away or if I'll be feeling like this throughout my rounds. Makes it kind of hard to bd  Hoping it won't take anymore rounds for me!! We are really looking forward to our future bundle of joy :flower:

I also have really long/irregular cycles (currently CD64). The plan is to start clomid next month. I'm nervous, but excited. Not much more to say lol, but good luck! I hope this is your cycle!

I just finished my first round of Clomid, the cramping you're feeling could be ovulation, have you taken any opks? I took Clomid cd3-7 and ovulated on CD 16.

I was doing opk's but then decided to just follow the doctor's orders and try every other day w/o the opk's (the negatives were stressing me out) .. .based off all my symptoms though I really think I ovulated on or right around day 16 also. I too took clomid day 3-7. What day are you on now?? I'm on CD 19 :) We will have to keep each other posted! Hope this is your month!

I'm on cycle day 23. The opks were stressful, but the positive ones made up for that. I was so happy to see that I had actually ovulated. I was diagnosed with a slight case of pcos, I ovulate just not regularly. My body has been up and down the past couple of weeks, I am just really hoping this is the month for all of us! Fingers crossed!

Hi there!
This is my first round of clomid too and I think I ovulated around cd 17.(..also took it on days 3-7).However, this is the first cycle where it's hard for me to tell. I always ovulate but have irregular cycles. I'm so confused because I didn't notice fertile CM or high and soft CP AND I never got a positive OPK!! I always get a positive OPK. My temps are also kind of weird. Anyway, I feel like Clomid has hurt more than helped this cycle. I'm very frustrated... The only reason I got my crosshairs on FF is b/c I removed all the negative OPKs and CPs. Sorry about ranting on but I'm just glad I'm not alone! Do you girls feel that it has helped you this cycle ?

I really think it's helped me. But I did not do ovulation tests nor temp. I'm not really sure if I ovulate or not, lol I was on BC for 12 years and I think it really messed me up - I'm probably anovulatory if I were to guess! He said based off my cycle lengths I probably wasn't. This time, with Clomid I had the CM (although I had to REALLY get in there, TMI LOL) but I've never had a lot of it ... mostly the cramps and sensitive/itchy nipples were my signs. Anyway I'm going on Monday to get my progesterone level checked by blood - it drops right after ovulation, so it will tell whether I did or not. W/ the OPK's I was stressing out about whether I missed my surge, how much I drank, when I last pee'd, ugh it was stressful! LOL! Let me know about the doctor, we can keep each other updated! :)

How are you doing? I'm supposed to be testing this week but pretty sure it will be BFN. FF says I should wait until Friday but I will probably test on Wednesday. I've been feeling pretty normal..not really any symptoms to report.

I know what you mean about stressing about OPK's. I tend to do that too.

I am good. Went to doc today for progesterone level blood draw, it should be able to confirm whether or not I ovulated. They said I had to wait 7-10 days to hear results, I really hope that isn't true. I'll be on CD 30-32 by then lol. I think I will wait until a full week after missed period to test, so that will be next Friday/Saturday. That's the plan anyway but I know once I hit that week when I'm supposed to start it will be REALLY hard not testing! At least need to make it to Sunday without testing.

I hope your progesterone levels show ovulation. I'm sure you did...it sounds like you had some good symptoms. I bet it won't take that long to get the results back. Last time they checked mine, I found out the next day! You are really good if you can wait till you are a whole week late to test. I don't know when I will test but I'm trying to wait until Wednesday at the earliest. Well, good luck and keep me posted :)

Oh, and referring to your earlier post, there is no TMI for me! I don't usually get a ton of CM either so I know what it's like to have to go searching!

LOL Thanks for the laugh this morning!!! I really hope I hear back sooner. I'm having a little cramping today, it's cd 24 ... really hoping it's too early for af cramping, and it's implantation cramping instead... FX'd!!!

Yay! I'm glad I helped start your day off with some comedy :) What dpo are you again? I think usually implantation happens around 9dpo?? I feel like I don't have symptoms of AF or PG. I'm just hanging out there somewhere in between. I usually have spotting by now for sure and I have had ZERO! Today, I did have a lot of creamy CM so I don't know what that means.

When I actually got pregnant before, my boobs were SUPER sore and I had cramps just like I usually did (do) right before AF so I thought I was just starting my period. I was completely surprised when I saw that positive test. I hate how pregnancy symptoms are so similar to AF symptoms...someones idea of a cruel joke! :)
