This is the first time I've had a rant on here....usually my MIL is so cool but last night she really ticked me off!!
My eldest girl has been sick for the last 3-4 weeks with mono/glandular fever and I know I could have rung to let her know what was going on (she knew, my SIL told her what was happening with Ella the whole time) but never once did she ring to check how she was....poor child was so sick and it seems like her granny didn't give a shit.
Also I told her that Arya is walking now and she said "oh, Aiden's climbing" (my SILs little boy....he is 4 months older than my LO)
My MIL has 7 grandkids and out of that only one is a boy. She had 3 boys, my hubby is the eldest and although she loves the girls, the more girls that me and my SIL had the worse it got until finally my SIL produced a boy.....and now the sun shines out of him and it seems that my MIL cant see beyond it.
The kids are always being compared and it just isn't fair.
I know I'll never be able to say anything to her about any of it but it just pisses me off so bad!
