ive signed up today, not sure what ill get and when. I have a trail day on monday too for a part time job in minimum wage.
im so stressed though as i have absolutely no money, and car insurance and bank charges to pay.
Let allone all the bills next month, my OH is babrley making enough to cover his bills. I really dont know how im going to pay anything next month. its got to the point where i dotn even care about food ect, just paying the rent is going to kill me. :(

If you're over 25 you should get approx £65 a week if you're entitled to contribution-based JSA. You only get it for 6 months but hopefully you can get a job in that time.
Do you live with your OH? If not you should make a claim for housing benefit and council tax benefit. If your OH is on a low wage you should apply anyway - you never know!
Hope you manage to get the job and things start to look brighter x

im 23... and i do live with OH he is on a low wage though so i hope so. in the process of sizing up everything i can spare to flog on ebay... :'(

Under 25 JSA only pays £53 a week :-(
Hopefully you can get the other benefits sorted quite quickly.
