hi all,
i have a bit of a sad question.
i had a BFP recently, totally unexpected. i had pcos and recently just had a check up and the gynecologist found i had a fibroid and sent me for further investigation. i had an hysteroscopy done, took a bunch of naproxen.
turns out, in both occasions they missed to see i was infact pregnant. i had a late positive test apparently.
suddendly at week 7 i started to feel extremerly nauseous and my breasts hurt and i noticed i was always thirsty. so i took then the pregnancy test.

now its 2 weeks later and i have no symptoms anymore.
on valentines day i was feeling really bad and my back was hurting me so much and so was my lower belly. felt pretty hard too.
then saturday was a bit better, sunday i did all the housework as i felt well. yesterday i got my appetite back and today i feel like my old self.

i feel something is odd. im 9 weeks along and i feel great. that cant be right.

if i take a pregnancy test now, will it show positive even if sth went wrong?

we have a heart monitor but we never were able to find the heartbeat yet, even though the midwife did.

It is completely normally around 9/10 weeks for symptoms to dissapear or ease off as this is when the placenta begins to take over and your own hcg levels begin to even out. I don't think a test would show positive at this stage due to hook effect and may cause u even more worry. The symptoms will return, most likely in a few weeks. Are y due a scan anytime soon? Perhaps speak with your midwife about your worries?? She could maybe have a wee listen to babies heartbeat to reassure u xxx

Hey love. Firstly, breathe xox I know it's hard but it's the best thing
Secondly, you're right, being this far, a positive will show for a while, even if bub isn't here anymore. HOWEVER, symptoms come and they go. It happens to me all the time. my morning sickness has started to ease off this week and my symptoms always vary in strength and which ones they are.
Bad signs are bright red blood that starts with spotting and gets heavier, accompanied with cramping. Some spotting is considered normal but always check with your doctor (don't go bananas with checking your undies though :haha: I've been doing that for almost 6 weeks now and it's getting pretty old, teehee)
I know just how hard it is to just breathe and believe everything will be ok (I've lost 2) but try finding things to distract yourself. Books, light exercise, gardening is also really nice. It helps with smell and aversions as well, making your own little pretty smelling garden :)
Best of luck darling xox Wishing you a happy and healthy nine months

with my first pregnancy i tested every other day til week 12 as i had no symptoms (well, mild nausea over mint toothpaste) nor weight gain. this time i had really bad nausea and couldnt eat a thing. not to mention i was tired all the time and the 2 naps my son takes were never enough!
well, he is asleep now and im wide awake!!!

have a check up in 2 weeks, i soooo hope we can find the heartbeat, would really calm me down.
however, i feel too good. its just weird.

I had a mmc 2 years ago and also felt like something wasn't right at the time. I woke up one day feeling fine and normal, with no preg symptoms. When I went to the doc it was confirned that the baby had passed. :( I was still testing positive at the time. I hope your baby is fibe. As someone else said it can be normal for symptoms to ease off around that time. When is ur next scan?

Considering that you had a hysteroscopy I think you have a valid point in requesting an earlier check up to set your mind at ease :hugs:

As for the pregnancy test question, even if you started miscarrying now you would most likely still have a positive test until a few days after you passed everything. So I wouldn't even bother with a test and request an early scan instead.

Wishing you all the best and a happy and healthy pregnancy!

Good luck, hun. I hope you get an earlier appointment. With my son most of my symptoms were gone by about 10 weeks so that would not necessarily be the sign the baby has died. With my mmc's I usually knew it was likely over when I started to feel a little sickly in my pelvic area. It's hard to explain exactly, but it just felt 'off' down there.
