I wondered this the first time I had seen them and when I went to my cloth diapering class I found out it was the other way! Thank goodness I hadn't started using them!! I would have completely put them on wrong. They told us at our class the microfibre side (towel looking side) if put to baby's skin can actually suck moisture out of baby's skin so always with smooth side up. They are ok inside pockets because neither side actually touch baby's skin! xx
