silly possibly weird question

this is going to sound really silly, but they say when you've had a child you show early because of muscles already being stretched, well is it the same if you've been pregnant before and mc?? because my belly seems to have ballooned and can just about fit into my work uniform and even a guy i work with asked me because he'd noticed my belly had all of a sudden grown!!

I dont know the answer to this but my tummy has ballooned already, I am pretty sure it is fluid and nothing to worry about! I couldnt do up my work trousers when I only 6 weeks!

I would say you have the Pregnancy bloat.

I noticed a lot more growth in the belly area during this pregnancy than I did in my last one that ended in MMC, so maybe! However, the last one only grew to 9 weeks and I didn't notice a difference in growth until 7-8 weeks this time (kind of a 'hey...I wore these longer last time') so you probably just have the bloat.

I had the same at 6 weeks, couldnt do trousers up, went back to normal after few weeks and then started showing properly about 19 weeks Tis also my second.

Me too you must be due the same day as me I feel sooo blown up and spotty lol the joys of pregnancy hehe hopefully we will blossom in the 2nd trimester they say spots are a sign of a girl

i'm due 24th august, i just feel horrible in myself lol i feel like shamoo i did that prediction thingy and it said boy, also morning sickness has hit last three days , just can't wait til jan have my first scan on the 11th, seems sooooooooooooo far away wish i could kinda go to sleep and wake up on that date lol xxx

i only got my scan because my docter booked me in early, its my second pregnancy, the first one ended in m/c in the beginning of september. we'd been properly trying since june this year, found out i was pregnant on the 24th august, had the m/c couple weeks later waited a month to have a normal cycle then found out the 10th dec i'm pregnant again, and the 24august is mine a OH anniversary .


have you got any other children?? how long have you been trying??

Ahh really sorry for your loss how sweet baby is due on you anniversary
I have a 6 year old son who I fell for 1st month of trying this is my second pregnancy took me 7 months TTC bit longer but got there in the end Baby is due on my Mum's Bday so she is happy xx

Oh my gosh yes it does seem too far away!! We'll be one day shy of being 8weeks when we go to the appt. Just being curious what time is your appt?

i know i just wsh the time would fly mind you christmas and new year should go quick, mines at 8.20 in the morning. i have my midwife on the 6th of jan! have you een booked in for the midwife yet??
