?silly question about plug/show?

this may be a silly question... but here goes..

it came to me in the middle of the night that you know how us pregnant ladies have to get up to pee loads.. well in the night i dont bother with putting the light on and then thought- if i have a show, would i know about it or not?

does anyone know, would i have to 'see' it to know if i was losing plug.. or is it quite obvious without looking?

i lost my plug in bits over afew weeks so its not really obvious.

mine came out i either very thick discharge or just blood

Good question Kiree, as I don't pee with the light on during the night either. I would like to think that I would know as it would feel slimy (Sorry TMI lol) when wiping, but I could be wrong.
