i know its silly but i keep thinking of when i tell people i am pregnant again and when patients will notice (i'm a dental nurse) that the questions of is this your second or have you other childern?. i have my eldest son but sadly our 2nd son died at 26weeks, so what do i say? i dont want to ignore that fact i had harrison but how do i phrase it? this is my 3rd and just leave it? i know its a odd thing to worry about and i dont know why i am cos i was worried about telling patients i'd lost harrison but to be honest a 10min appt every 6months most people forgot i was even pregnant, only a handful asked after my baby as i did obvisously take leave.

any advice?

have the same problem myself as had a mc, so this is not my first pregnancy, but my advice is...strangers, it's our 'third', nothing else...it's a bit harder for patients, but some might remember Harrison, so it's our third, but 'oh, we lost H...' if they ask -- after all it IS your third pregnancy!

I usually say, 'it's my first' and leave it at that, but if they persist or ask, 'are you excited?' I either say, 'I can't wait to meet baby!' or 'somewhat, we had a mc two years ago, so trying not to worry too much!'....it's hard, I know....

not sure if I helped at all, but what's most important is that your friends and family will always rememember Harrison....

best wishes
