I saw this pram on the internet and am quite excited about it.

https://www.silvercross.co.uk/our-range/pram-systems/classic-sleepover/

But I live in the U.S and they don't sell them here so I would have to order it from the UK.
Has anyone seen or used these and what can you tell me about it?

Does the carseat come separately or is it part of it? Excuse my ignorance but I never see these 3 in 1 pram ravel systems here, though they are common in the UK.

Is it heavy or light weight? Is this a good one? I like that it is high up off the ground.
thanks for any opinions on it.

Is this one very similar? Better/worse?

I don't know about the second one but I was considering getting the Sleepover and still like it very much.
The pram doesn't come with a carseat, there is a top and base sold seperately, you choose from a classic or linear base. The classic is more traditional and doesn't have swivel wheels. The linear is more modern looking with a mesh basket and does have swivel wheels.

The top piece can change from a carry cot to a pushchair seat and also comes with a rocking moses basket base so it can be used for that. I looked at the Silver Cross in Marine (navy) and it is beautiful, high with great suspension. It is big though I had to change my mind on it because it would not be suitable for buses. The carrycot is really soft and it looks lovely as a moses basket.

With regard to the weight, it is heavy, I can lift both folded pieces (the top and base) at once with the linear chassis however I am quite strong. I have difficultly lifting both the top and classic chassis at once. It would be much more difficult to do with a baby. Its definatly one of the heavy options out there.

The car seat you will need is the Silver Cross Ventura it is the only one that will fit. However I have been told that British and American carseats vary greatly due to the different style of cars and I am not sure a British carseat would fit in to an American car and if it does whether it would meet the American carseat requirements so it is worth checking in to.

I hope that helps, I think if you order it you wont be disappointed.

Just checked your link, they are selling it is a complete. Some places like John Lewis have you buy the top and base seperately.
If its that colour you were going for I can tell you its definatly just as beautiful in real life

I lookes at the silvercross sleepover classic.

ook at the classic base when carseat and stroller position are working it looks vile!!!

I have gone of the idea of the sleepover and instead am getting a free way.

Easier to manouver ect.

Myself and my SIL both have the sleepover and we both love it! Both are the linear chassis and came complete with ventura car seat. Ours is in navy and they have black. We have been out for walks everyday this week and have had loads of compliments on how nice a pram it is.

We have the sleepover with the linear chassis. i absolutely love it, my lo looks so safe, and snug. we always get comments about how nice it is. And when u come inside u clip off the top part and its a moses basket on a stand. It is fairly heavy to lift but i have managed it even after a c section. It is bulky so uses up our boot, and it wouldnt be good for buses, but i love it!

Thanks for the replies! I love the look of it. I think it is so strange that prams are so common in the UK but not used at all here in the US! frustrating as they are so useful and cosy. I am trying to figure out how to order one (probably this silver cross one) and have it shipped. If anyone knows of a store or company that would ship one to the US please let me know. Thanks!

Hi i just wanted to know if you were successful in getting the sleepover here in the US. I love the stroller and I'm afraid I might have to fly to Europe and bring it back as luggage. My husband won't agree to that.
