I went for an Ultra Sound yesterday, and found out I was having a boy, I also found out, the baby only has a 2 vessel Unibilical Cord, My Dr. was not there to answer any questions for me, so I got my information from the internet, I called today to get more information, and they said everything looked fine on the scan, however I must wait for blood work to come in to rule everything out, I am very very concerned, and I was just wondering if any of you have previous experience with this issue, It is very scary, because I was informed of still birth being a rather high chance, I need some opinions, and positive thoughts!! Please!!!

hey hun sorry uv had so many read and runs but no advice, i had this with my youngest and had to have growth scans, apparently its v.common and usually not a cause for concern they just like to keep checking babys weight to make sure the babys getting enough nutrients. my little girls was 5 weeks prem and weighed 5.14 which is a good weight for a baby 5 weeks early, dont worry yourself to much as hard as it is because i didnt enjoy a few weeks of my pregnancy because of it. everything is usually fine sweetie x

I havve been so so nervous, and like you it has been hard to enjoy this pregnancy, I am so happy that you commented and let me know that everything will be ok more or less, I had hust heard some conflicting info about it, thats why I should never google things lol!! but thank you so so much!!!

Hi guys!

I found out that our little one had a two-vessel cord at our twenty-week ultrasound, and I was also very concerned. We had extra growth scans at 25 weeks, 35 weeks and at 38 weeks - all showed that she was small, but otherwise fine.

Well, we had her on Monday, at 40 weeks and 4 days. She was 7lbs, 9oz and is doing wonderfully - no problems whatsoever.

That is so reasuring thank you guys so much, I am just the biggest worrier ever, it's so nive to talk to people who havw similar issues!!
