Sippy cups

Who uses a sippy cup with their baby and where did you get yours from?

Hayden uses a sippy cup now, he's 15mo, but we introduced it to him at 6mo. He likes the Gerber brand, Nuby and Munchkin

We got ours in a pack with plates and cutlery etc. We also got one from the dentist.

I bought one but it just goes all over her - assuming you mean without a lid cups?

She tries drinking from our mugs now (recently) so may bring it back out again.

She started using beakers from 6 months when I introduced very diluted juice into her weaning x

I bought Sam a Tommee Tippee one (if this is the sort of thing you mean) - you can get them everywhere (Asda, Boots, probably Mothercare etc.) and he loves drinking from it...didn't take him long to learn how to hold it himself to drink.

We've got one of these too (Nuby) which I'm going to use to give him milk in (and we use for water too) to get him used to not drinking from a teat if he has bottles:

Thanks everyone. The thing I am on about is like a beaker but with no lid, it just has one raised side on a slant which makes it easier for the baby to 'sip' from it. I haven't seen them but my h/v showed me one a while ago. I will ask her if she knows where they're from.

Doidy cup? They don't have a raised side but the whole thing is on a slant - some people get given them when their babies are 6 months but I bought one (new) on ebay x

Thank you! That's the one. Have never heard of the word Doidy cup but that's what I was thinking of! Will have a look on ebay xx
