How have your babies gotten themselves into a sitting position... Jasmine can sit for a few seconds... but she constantly tries to sit up right from laying on her back lol... Like little sit ups.

That eventually evolves into them turning and sitting. I can't really explain it, like, twisting around to all fours then sitting down?

ahh... thanks... I was wondering because obviously the way she is trying to do it is too hard haha, I can barely do full sit ups.

 Yea thats what Tabs does tries to sit from a lying position, if you place her sitting she kinda sits quite funny to watch spesh when she goes 'timber' and falls sideways  or goes forwards verrrryyy slowly :)

Hannah's been doing this for 3 months or so now?? Still can't fully pull herself into a sitting position though she's getting closer. Makes it damn hard to change her diaper now

it took maddi a while but she kind of pulls her self up by laying down with a few kind of jerks if that makes sense! she could actually pull her self up to sit before she could properly sit, because then she used to fall over  x

Yep. Lola was trying to sit up from lying on her back ftom about 4 months or so, she now rolls on her tummy but clearly isn't strong enough to then actually pull herself into a sitting position.

She can only sit up for a couple of seconds unaided anyway, mostly she sits up and then holds on to my hand.

Yeah Ollie keeps trying to sit up from lying down too x

erin is trying to do this too - sit up when she's lying flat. i noticed it for the first time today.

Colton does what toriaa said.. kinda gets on all fours and then pushes himself up into sitting. He still cannot pull himself up from laying flat on his back, and I dont think they are actually able to do that for awhile. However, if he is leaning on a small pillow or cushion he will lean to the side alittle while trying to pull up (sit ups) and can get him to sitting. But laying flat on his back he cannot, he still tries quite often though, poor guy!
