I've reached a whole new level of exhaustion!

In the last 2 weeks, on about 4-5 occasions I've woken up at 3am with Jasper in bed with me, with him snuffling and snuggling in for his 3am feed... a few minutes into this feed I'm thinking, wow, he missed his 11pm feed... then... I'm realising... we both went to bed in separate beds... so... whats he doing already in bed with me... and... why was my breast already out before I started feeding him?!?!

Then I've realised, somehow, in my sleep, I've gotten up out of bed, gotten him from his bassinet, brought him back to bed, put him on the boob and let him feed... without waking myself up!!!

I dont know if this is a good thing because its easier to do it in my sleep, or kind of worrying that I'm THAT tired.

Also, last night my hubby said he thought it was very cute when he woke up the other night and saw Jasper fast asleep on the breast, sucking every few seconds, and me holding him, also fast asleep. I guess, on the plus side, neither Jasper or I are losing sleep while feeding!

I used to do that, but we coslept so he was always there, but he would wake up and start nursing and I wouldn't even know.

i did that last night, i was sooo tired so i just left him there its the most sleep ive had since he was born he went every 2 hours just about instead of constantly

Last night I was fast asleep on the couch, I didn't hear Jasper crying. My hubby got Jasper and brought him to me and just laid him on the couch beside me, I - in my sleep - got him onto the breast and then 20 minutes later hubby heard Jasper wiggling and snuffling, so he picked Jasper up and put him back to bed.

I woke up at about 2am on the couch with only a dim memory of jasper being lifted away from me after the feed, although if I wasn't told about it, I'd have thought it could have just been a faint dream!

I have just posted a thread on this too... it happened to me last night... so scary! xxx
