Okay, looking for some help! I'm going crazy.

DS2 is an awful sleeper. He has never been great really. Before the four month sleep regression he generally woke up about 4 times but it was okay because he'd be fed and then he'd go back to sleep most of the time. But since about 3.5 months when the regression started he's been awful. He's definitely over the regression and generally lets us put him down, and he isn't waking every sleep cycle because he often does 3 hour stretches at the beginning of the night (generally 6-9pm). His wakings, after 6pm bedtime (he needs this, he can't go longer) are generally 9pm, sometimes 10pm, 11pm at which point OH plays with him a little and changes his nappy (if he doesn't have this playtime he will not sleep at all for the rest of the night and just wants to be awake), 1am, and then it's all a blur of pretty much constant waking/feeding/him not sleeping for the rest of the night until I give up and take him in to OH at about 5 so I can grab two hours of sleep. We co-sleep and he's breastfed, though after feedings I tend to put him down in his co-sleeper cot again because he won't settle at all if I keep him next to me, he's just up every five minutes whining. Feeding him through the night seems to be what he wants but he gets frustrated as it doesn't help him fall asleep from 1am til morning, so he's just awake and stressed out. OH can get him to sleep brilliantly, but only on his chest, and I don't want to get him in to the routine of doing that either. Seriously what can I do?! I'm at my wit's end. I can't go on being so exhausted. I've had a cold for three weeks now and I know it's cos my body isn't coping with zero sleep. Any suggestions greatly appreciated! Oh and tried the No Cry Sleep Solution, doesn't work for him.

I'm afraid I can't help, but I'm in a very similar situation with my 6 month old. Hope someone has a magic solution to help us both but in the mean time misery loves company :flower:

Sorry to hear you're going through it too! It's so tough when you have an older child as well isn't it?
