I can't sleep any other way. It does feel quite uncomfortable but I don't know if thats mental or whether it is actually causing me discomfort. Any ideas? Is sleeping on your stomach okay?
I've read that you can sleep in any position that is comfortable without hurting the baby. I slept on my stomach every night up until recently. My tummy is starting to grow (finally) and it doesn't feel very comfortable for me anymore. I guess it all depends on your body. Try sleeping with a body pillow in between your legs. Thats what I do. It helps. I guess its only going to get harder for us the further along we get.
It is ok. But eventually your tummy will be too big and it might feel uncomfortable. Right now I sleep kind of on my stomach like yvanne with a leg up. Put your leg up on a pillow and it should be ok. It's the most comfortable for me. But I can't lay flat on my tummy.
I sleep like the other girls said, with one knee bent, the other straight, and laying on my stomach. I am 22 weeks, and am just getting to where EVERYONE notices that I dont JUST look fat anymore..
Sleeping on your stomach is fine, you will not doing any damage to baby as s/he is in a sack of fluid and as safe as houses!
Now whether you can actually do it or not is another matter the same as you, I can only sleep on my stomach, but I had to learn to sleep more on my side exactly as Yvanne said!
With my last 2 pregnancys i went to sleep on my tummy even when i had a huge lump, I made a big dip in the bed lol. So I can't see anything wrong with it mine were fine it didn't harm baby. I can't with this one at the moment my boobs are too sore lol

I still sleep on my tummy from time to time and it's safe. However, I won't be able to much longer as it will slowly become uncomfortable. As the other ladies said I think it's more of a comfort concern versus health unless you are very overweight in which case they say not to sleep on your tummy for health reasons.
