My 3 month EBF baby sleeps through the night from about 930pm until 7am...I wake up about 4 or 5 am with very full breasts and I just want to continue sleeping until she gets up but I have to go pump bc it is almost painful...any suggestions on a way around this or will I just have to continue getting up to pump every early morning..a few times I slept through until she woke up but it was really painful! I also don't want to get a plugged duct! Any moms out there had/have a similar situation or any advice?

After a few days your body will adjust the amount of milk its making at night and you will no longer feel engorged. If you express your body will think your baby needs the milk and keep producing it.

I agree with her. With my first, I remember when she started going 10-12 hrs at night. I was so full, I couldn't sleep, or even lie down it was so painful. I started pumping but then realized it just kept the cycle going. I just gutted it out and it did get better. It took me a whole week before my body's production adjusted. I was just ready to give up and pump for some relief again around day 6 but that's wheni noticed it started to get better. Good luck!

Try to cut down on the pumping or find other ways to relieve engorgement. I wouldn't go cold turkey if you've been pumping a lot or are in a lot of pain, because you don't want to get mastitis. But try for just as much as will make it tolerable.

My LO was also STTN at 3 months... however. Not to be a Debby Downer, but we hit some pretty serious sleep regression and growth spurts in months for and five. Do be aware that baby might start nursing at night again.
But I'd suggest pumping for a little relief, but not so much as to empty your breasts and signal the production of more milk.

Ok, must have jinxed it bc this morning she actually woke up at 5 am to eat! Lol so it was perfect timing for my boobs. But if I do pump/feed some mornings and don't others could this mess up my supply? Like Kellen said what if I stop pumping through the night and she starts waking up to eat again? Will my milk supply adjust or is it kinda like when it goes it goes? Thanks for the advice!

Yes, my supply adjusted itself. For two months I could sleep without becoming engorged or leaking all over DH. Not so much now. Oh, well, it means my freezer stash is growing.
