Well as some of you may know my baby feeds every 2-3 hours at night still but last night for the first time slept for 5 1/2 hours (I woke him up). I guess I was nervous because he never really sleeps longer so I jumped up thinking something was wrong but when I woke him up he was fine, he ate and went back to bed for another 3 1/2 hours. My question is at what point should I wake my LO to eat if he hasn't woke up himself? He is almost two months old. I guess I'm hoping this is the start of him sleeping longer because I have four more weeks until I go back to work part-time, blah!

I don't wake Sam at all and he sleeps all night (from 12ish when we go to bed until about 7). He certainly lets me know when he's hungry during the day and feeds lots, and he'll wake up smiling and playful and not screaming because he's hungry so I'm just appreciating the sleep! It did really worry me at first but I just leave him to sleep until we get up in the mornings now... better than being woken up by the alarm :D

I dont wake Seth up either. He usually lets me know when he's hungry :)

xxx

I don't wake Izzie up. She slept 7 hours the other night!

haha! I said the same thing to myself, I didn't want to jinx it. He only slept four hours for his longest stretch last night but I feel like there may be a light at the end of the tunnel now.

I know the feeling, we are back to where we started. Hopefully at three months our boys will start sleeping longer periods :hugs:
