I have to ask...

Since I had my miscarriage in November my menstrual cycles have been kind of "slimy." They're like goopy, not like normal blood but almost like they're mixed with egg-whites.

I've been aggressively trying to get pregnant again and just can't conceive.

Does one have anything to do with the other?

Are slimy periods "normal?" Are they going to be like this forever? Do I have to wait for them to get unslimy before I can conceive again?

I had the same thing, I noticed during my 2nd mc (6 weeks) ewcm mixed in with menstrual blood. It occurred in many of my following cycles, although not every time. I went on to have a CP in Dec and then got pregnant in March. I don't know what it means, but I did eventually get pregnant. It seemed like the heavier the menstrual blood they more cm i noticed. Maybe it was always there, but i didn't pay attention to it until I started having mcs? Good luck to you.

Don't be sorry, I didn't know either, it means chemical pregnancy. There are different definitions, but for me it was getting an early positive that didn't progress because implantation failed and resulted in a heavier than normal period about a week late.

My cycles after miscarriage were also slimy :/ They also noticed I had a developed an infection. I'm not sure if that's what made things slimy, but it's worth getting checked if you're having trouble. It took a couple of months to get back to normal.

So sorry for your loss and hope you get your rainbow soon :hugs:

I had that with each of my losses, and after giving birth. It is completely normal. I even had more ewcm all through out my cycles too. No infection here.
