Slow Cooker users...advice please?

I am after a slow cooker...iv never had one before so i am clueless?!

They all say how many litres they are...i would like a big one...is 6.5litres big? i have no idea?!

Also what else should i look for when buying one? Does it matter if they are digital or not?

Any advice would be appreciated xx

Oooooo we just got ours on Sunday in the sale in Argos Morphy Richards 6.5 litre for £19.99 instead of £49.99.

I made a stew in it the other night and it fed me, OH and the kids on Monday night and OH dinner yesterday and mine and OH tea yesterday and theres still a little left xx

it's great because you can take the 'pot' part off and put it on the hob to fry onions or whatever, put it in the fridge, put it in the oven and even in the microwave
it's only a 4.7L and does 5 people so yes, 6.5L is big.

I LOVE my slow cooker, haven't a clue on size til i root the box out its morphy richards i think & i use it about 3/4 times a week. Its just soooooo handy & makes a mean braised steak dinner ! lol

I bought mine for a tenner in Tesco, its 3.3litres.
I managed to make a sausage and onion casserole for 4 adults and 4 childen the other week in it.
I love mine x

I have a 6.5l one and it is big but we get mine, oh and logans tea out of it lunch the next day and then enough to put another meal in the freezer for the 3 of us !!

I love it couldnt be without it !!

Oooo we got one for xmas too, we did have a small one on loan but it wasnt big enough for us so it was replaced as a xmas present to a 6.5 litre one.

I looooove my slow cooker!! I think there is a slow cooker thread somewhere...maybe in the recipe section? Or in one of the groups? I am almost positive I posted a recipe or 2 in there
