Evening All

I haven't posted here for a long time but felt my dismal response to stims justified it! I also hope that some here can give me their advice or share their experience as I'm a first timer!

It is day 13 and I had my second scan today, my earlier scan on day 8 had shown 12 follies coming up to 11mm but today the other nurse measured 8, 9 and one being the biggest at just over 11. She said not to worry as they all measure differently and that they wanted my stimming to be slow but now I'm starting to worry that they will cancel the cycle as our sheet only goes up to 21 days which isn't that far off and we seem to have a long way to go! Last nurse said we were aiming for collection on weds so now I'm a bit gutted really

I am in a similar situation. I had a scan on day 9 where there were two follicles, one at 9 and one at 10. Had a second one today on day 13 and there was one that was 14+ and one 13+ and a third that may catch up. After my day 9 scan my FS hd me take another 5 days of the femara which seems to be helping. She said the cycle is a bit slow but not to worry that any # of things can impact a cycle. the medication, time change, etc can all impact cycles.

I am to use OPK until Saturday when we should be doing the trigger shot. I am hoping to get a positive before then but time will tell. I usually only have a 25 day cycle and ovulate around day 13 or 14.

Me too! It's so depressing. I had my first scan yesterday which was day 7 on gonal-f and had a "couple" of follicles all under 10mm. I'm on a low dose of the drug as have PCOS and so they increased the dose yesterday and I am going back on Friday.

I just hope it picks up for all of us!!!

Hello!!

Haven't been on for a few days as I have a cold and was feeling sorry for myself lol!

Well day 17 is here and my biggest follie is 14.4 after upping my dose from an alternating 150/75 of menopur to 225 menopur. But anyone in the same boat as me I have read research that read that some of the highest rates of pregnancy were achieved in long term stimming! My eggs can sit there and do their own thing in their own time at that rate-if they could however be good to go monday I would be immensely grateful though

I hope everyone cycling now is having brilliant results and there are loads of bfps! xx

Cuffy, I'm on same dose of menopur as you...150 iu one night, followed by 75 the next. I started stimming on Monday evening and was in this morning for scan after 4 nights.....1 9mm follicle and lots of other little antral follies not worth measuring yet. My E2 was 190. I expected that my dose would be upped but they have left it as is over weekend (150 tonight, 75 on Sat and 15o on Sun)and have another scan on Monday morning. Don't know what to think.I have PCOS so obviously overstimming is a concern but worried that I'm responding too slowly Glad to see I'm not the only one in this position!

I went 2 weeks before they upped mine, by which point I was starting to get a little cheesed off! Most of my cycle buddies are now in the 2ww and I have yet another scan tomorrow! In fairness I should have asked more questions earlier on but it is my first time and nothing prepares you for this! It wasn't til they did my blood test they changed the dose also because they were quite sure we wouldn't end up with anymore follies-the risk factor for us pcos gals! However this weekend I have been quite uncomfy all the time so I hope this is it, it's hard being the first to start yet the last one waiting for ec! Fingers crossed on the higher success for gentle longer stimming!!

So how is it all going ladies? I'm still responding slowly. Day 15 and my scan today showed very slowly growing follicles (again)! They seem to be around 12 and 13 in size. Am staying at the same dose of gonal-f and getting scanned at the end of the week!

Such a stressful time. Hope things improve at next scan Mich1! I was in this morning after 9 days of stims. They upped my dose slightly to 150iu Menopur on consecutive days as opposed to alternate days for Mon and Tues night. Definite improvement on Monday's scan...2 at 13mm, 1 at 11mm, 2 at 10mm and 9 others between 6&9mm. Had lots of antral follies but he just noted them..prob won't amount to much! My E2 seems to be on the rise..it was 518 today having more than doubles from 214 on Monday...still low relative to a lot of research I've done but things seem to be taking off! I'm in again on Friday...
