Slowly swapping to stage 2

It is ok to just put some stage one and stage to in the same bottle.. Like 5oz of normal and 2 oz of stage 2? or should i not mix the 2

Reason im asking is because i still have like 4 1/2 Tubs of stage 1 since i like to buy a month in advance to make sure i have enough so i no if we end up with no money he still has food..I do the same with nappies and wipes lol

So far this morning his had 14oz and we are only 10:37am and the mornings is when he normally drinks less... His also started to wake earlier for bottles. His ready for his next bottle

Also by the way his weight gain has been by next week he should of doubled his birth weight. Since he was 7lbs 5oz and when he last got weighed he was 13lbs 14oz.

I put half and half in Ruby's bottles...have done since she was about 5 weeks.

Is this safe to do? As The is no longer content on SMA Gold, and I don't want to switch him straight to white. Can I mix the 2 to get him used to it? then slowly put smaller amounts of gold in? x

I'm not sure about powder...I've never used it, I'm too lazy. But I guess it would be ok, as long as you put the right total number of scoops in!

Well kyle seems ok with it his had some funny poo, but i expect that when messing about with his formula,, still just as hungry though and taking over 30oz lol

His on powder and cartons, but only cartons when we are in a hurry..

at the moment because we have so much stage 1 still and want to swap slowly he has 6scoops of stage 1 and 1 scoop of stage 2, to let his tummy get used to it slowly.. As we use up more stage 1 it will go to 5scoops to 2scoops of stage 2.. Just i have about £30-£40 worth of stage 1 formula lol

But saying that sometimes he has a full bottle of stage 2 then 2/3 hours later he will have a 7oz bottle of mixed..
