Sma lactose free or nutrimogen

My LO is either lactose or dairy intolerant. Been advised to try sma lactose free to test if its dairy or lactose. I suspect lactose because of a reaction he had to lactulose and because its gastro and no rashes etc.

Jut wondered if anyone done the same and how they found sma... For those that have use nutrimogen I've heard it's disgusting and some babies refuse it- what are your experiences?

We use Nutramigen Lipil. You're right it is gross. It smells awful. Our LO takes it fine, but we gradually weaned him onto it over a week or so, combining it with his previous milk. I can't comment on lactose intolerance, but Nutramigen will help either. Personally I would try that first. Also if your LO has been officially diagnosed you can get it on prescription.
