Can babies have this?

I knew someone who used it but wasn't sure ...

Trying to think of things I can mix with full fat milk.

Not sure if you mean baby food but I ahd to mix max's oatmeal with his milk

and yesterday he had his carrots with oatmeal they only way he would eat them lol

sorry if thats not what you meant lol

Sorry changed it - I mean with full fat milk. Trying to introduce this more in her food as I've dropped 2 bottles coz she wasn't feeding.

x

Smash as in 'Smash means mash?'

Do they still make that?

I used to do mash with mashed veggies and maybe a little chicken in but using milk to make it creamier. Was so yummy I sometimes ate some myself.

x

I always put cows milk in Dec mash, he seemed to prefer it to formula. HV said it was fine

Smash mash yes lol A quick idea when needs be really so asking in advance :D x

I started to give full fat milk to Noah on his breakfast from about 7 months (could have even been a little earlier) he was fine on it, in fact prefered it to formula. He's now having it with food and has 2 full fat 8oz bottles a day and a formula bottle at bed, although the formulas going to run out in the next few days so it will be BLUE MILK ALL THE WAY!!!!!

So much easier & cheaper.

She has it in cereal when she drinks her normal bottle but I want to introduce it more :D

Hmmm dunno about Smash hun think it could be packed with salt but my be wrong
Hipp do a mash for babies and it lasts ages, i used to mix it with formula so Jack was still getting x amount a day but can be mixed with Full milk

You know who I seen using it ;) Hence I asked lol

:nope: steer clear of this hun, I read a while ago that a mum fed this to her bubs every day 4-5 months old he was and the little baby died due to the salt content  so steer completely clear of it :hugs: oh and tell this to whoever you seen using it too..

Old mod her LO was under 1 but isn't now. Don't talk to her ;)

Thanks for that though :D

 I was horrified to read the story :(

I just read somewhere, not sure where but if I find it again I will post the link that milk (full fat) is ok for babies after 6 months but only in food .
*runs off to double check*

More first foods to try
Add to the vegetable, fruit and cereal purées other foods such as:

* Purées of meat and poultry
* Purées of pulses such as lentils (dahl), hummus
* Full-fat milk products such as yoghurt or fromage frais - unless you've been advised otherwise by your health visitor or GP
* Full-fat milk can also be used for cooking, for example in cheese sauce, but avoid giving it to your baby as a drink until after he or she is a year old
