I was reading over the SMEP this morning and it sounds half decent. But I have one question... if I know the day I ovulate (I normally get a +OPK the night or day of ovulation, then ovulation cramps and always a good thermal shift the next day) why would we bother BDing three consecutive days after a + OPK?

Thanks ladies!!

Ovulation can occur 12-48 hrs after the last positive OPK. That's why it says to BD after +OPK. But if you are absolutely confident that ovulation has occurred then you don't have to BD. Most women rely on OPK and not temps to detect ovulation so I think that's why the plan includes the extra BD

^^ WSS to give you the best chance of cenception and just incase you O late i would say x

Thanks ladies! I started taking vitex a few cycles ago and ovulation is soo much easier to pin point now. I suppose we'll just see how the month goes and if I have any doubts then I'll make sure we BD those days ;)
