Wow talk about the most confusing cycle yet but then again it's all new to me. A little about me, I am 32 and this cycle I have taken 100mg clomid from days 3-7 and had a scan at day 13 and was found to have a 15mm follicle on my left ovary. I was then given 10000iu of pregnyl on day 14 and from day 15 I have been having smileys on my cb digi sticks. I am now day 19 and still getting strong lines on my opks and smiley faces. I presume this is happening due to the pregnyl and I was wondering if anyone else has had this. At what point does pregnyl leave the body? I quite like seeing smileys for this long it makes my day that much better.
Thanks for your info in advance

The pregnyl is what's causing the positive opk's. I bought ClearBlue Monitor and it was a total waste of money as the HCG shots keep you showing positive. 10,000 should take around 10 days to leave your body. I gave up the monitor and use CM instead.xx

Great, thank you, that means it should be gone by Monday. I read somewhere it takes approx 1000 iu a day to clear the system. I am really hoping for a :bfp: but I don't want to keep my hopes up.

I think that's exactly what I read. Last cycle I started testing (cheapos) @14dpo, then left it until 16dpo to see if it got any darker (it hadn't) :(. Anyway I'm on 20,000 all in lol, so that's why I'm testing out.

I wouldn't use a clearblue digi monitor if I were you, I looked into getting one and I read up on it, it says your results can be misleading if you take fertility drugs. I take clomid so I'm not going to spend all that money on something that can be misleading x

I definitely wouldn't recommend a cbfm if you have PCOS either, I had so many false positives with it and because of the monitor we didn't get investigated as we thought we were ovulating.

Cooch is this your first cycle having had the trigger shot? I am using internet cheapies to POAS but I have some cb ovulation sticks left and i love looking at the smile that appears :D

It my 2nd cycle on 20,000 of HCG. I was on 10,000 HCG for 2 months previously.
I want to test out to see whether or not the line gets darker. If I get BFP I've to go straight onto progesterone support, So I need to know asap if its real or not. :happydance:

I guess I spoke too soon, no smiley this morning :( there are still 2 lines but the test line is much fainter than the control line. Does this mean a :bfp: is less likely?
