Smiley face on CB Digital OPK on first day?

Hi All,

I have been testing with the CB digital (not advanced) OPK for the past few months and never got a smiley face on the first day (CD11). Is that possible? I thought I've read previously that it wasn't as the reader needs to take a "base" reading in order to detect a surge. I usually don't get the smiley face till CD 12 / 13, so I don't quite follow the suggestion on the instructions to start on CD 9.

Wondering if any of you would know as many of you are very experienced with these things! Thanks in advance.

You can O and never get a PEAK/HIGH. Its not likely but it is possible.

I am using the advanced ones and i got a high today. I know i will get a peak but i also know i still need to BD because with DD2 i never got the peak and still Od.
