smoking

yeah it sure does lol yeah i will try, i found it so easy when i gave up now its really hard i want to everyday but cant seem to manage it xxx

i started trying to give up sn as i found out i was pregnant but the first three weeks of trying i was crap! i kept caving in and smoking more than i did before then eating to much to compensate getting moody an allsorts lol my now ex boyfriend kept calling me a baby killer everytime i had a fag aswell which didnt help at all just made me really upset god i hate him the drama queen! xx

awww thats mean, its so hard i want to do the right thing and give up i wish i found it as easy as some people, yeah thats what i find when i give up i eat loads and end up with a stomach ache every night lol, is he going to have anything to do with your baby or has he walked away completely xxx

i dont know ive told him to piss off lol if he wants to be involved with the baby ill have to let him on my terms though but im just not gonna worry about it right now hes stressed me out enough! xx

fair play to you :) i need that attitude lol xx

i got plenty to go round! lol probably my attitude that got me single again haha you shouldnt take no crap from anyone xxx

yeah i know, ive put up with crap from every bloke, they've been either violent or a cheat, or just generally treated me like shit, i must go for the wrong men lol, probably better off single anyway xxx

no wonder women move abroad the men here are such a letdown!! lol xx

lol id be gone if i didnt have my child and the baby on the way xx

same here! i got a ten yr old and a 3 yr old already xx

thats what my age gap will be with my kids, do you find it hard work xx

Well done girl :) I cut down and then went cold turkey sat :) x

not really cos my daughter was old enough that they dont argue and she even helps out with my son i think its alot harder when they are close in age the important thing is to make em feel involved with the baby and not left out then they dont get jealous xx

Well done its not easy.

I stopped a week ago, a couple of days after my BFP. With my other 2 I smoked when I found out and found it hard to stop but did eventually (before 15 weeks). This time i have done it and am so proud of myself fighting those cravings is not easy but can be done.

Cutting down is great and stopping will be easier when you feel 'more pregnant' as it all seems more real then.

Keep it up

as for the feeding row, some women just aren't happy with breast feeding and use formula, big deal. I know babies and now older children from both camps and I don't see much difference in immunity, brain power or the like. So long as baby is happy and growing and mum is happy and relaxed go with what suits you both. Why struggle to breast feed if you really don't like it!

Mum of 2 aged 11 and 8, bottle fed 11 year old, breast for 2 months for 8 year old then bottle all the way. no guilt here and very wonderful children.

pj32 it does feel great to finally kick the habit!! for your baby and for yourself i feel much better in myself already!
i agree with you about the bottlefeeding everyones got there own reason why they choose either way personally i just could never get the hang of breastfeeding it made me and the baby miserable both times and i never had any problems with the formula at all both my kids are healthy intelligent children so cant see a problem with it x

congrats hun!!! I havent had a smole for 12 weeks now :)

lol true and i have a better appetite, except at night i'm just not hungry at night. Good luck you must be over the worst now :)

:happydance: That's great! I quit a long time ago now but I remember the first few weeks were the hardest.
