I am so angry right now, we all have the cold ~ including Lucas who is 11 days old!

Why do we have the cold, well we were wondering so my other half was on he phone to his friend who turns round and says "oh that will be what we've just had" :saywhat:

:hissy::hissy:
am so angry ~ where was the consideration of saying that they had it an arranging another time to visit, and why oh why did she have to hold my damn baby when she had this!!!

Its even more frustrating because her daughter who is nearly 3 has a condition where she gets very ill very easily so we always take great to make sure we are germ free when we visit her

honestly i could swing for her, Lucas is throwing up feeds and getting me really worried to the point that i phoned NHS24 but they are happy to keep an eye on him ....

How annoying!!! So inconsiderate!! I have it all the time ppl coming round ill really annnoys me!

I absolutaly hate this!!!! soooo annoying!! I have had it happen to me MIL thinks is perfectly fine to come round when she is suffering with a throat infection and cough when I just had a baby!! omfg :hissy:

I think it's very selfish of them too!

My mother-in-law also did this, but informed me that as I was breastfeeding my baby wouldn't get sick (??????) and that also that babies need germs to build up their immune system (germs yes I agree, flu !!!!!! I do not think so love.) Some people haven't got the sense they were born with.

hope you all get better soon

I had this problem like a month ago we went to visit friends and they didnt tell us there LO was sick with gastro ..my poor bub was so sick for 2 weeks

beat her up debs! lol.....i will referree ;) You will all be feeling better soon xxxxxx

That was a selfish thing to do. I hope your OH gave them a mouthful over the phone!

There was a woman ouside school in the queue with everyone else and holding a small child's hand...turned out the small child had chickenpox:hissy::hissy::hissy::hissy::hissy::hissy:. What a silly bitch, stood right friggin next to me and my two babies:gun: and said

"oooh, have they had chickenpox yet?"

No they bloody haven't:hissy::hissy::hissy::hissy::hissy::hissy: Fick as shit springs to mind:dohh:

When Abi had chickenpox and Lauren was in school obviously I had to collect her as I have no family that lives nearby and didn't know any of the Mum's at school well enough to ask them to pick her up from home and take her in for me:blush:. I used to take her in the car and then send her into the classroom with another Mummy so I didn't have to take Abi out of the car and when picking her up I arranged for Lauren to come out through the office 15mins earlier so I didn't have to come into contact with other Mum's and children with my spotty child.

It's common sense not to go near small babies/newborns with a contagios illness I would have thought:dohh:

have decided that we're not going ~ as arranged ~ to visit her on friday, even though i'd quite like to give her a piece of my mind and her blooming germs back - i am considerate and don't want to do that to her kids and more so don't want my babies getting any more germs from her.

Tell her you're poorly and are worried they may catch it coz you're considerate like that:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

The exes used to send my stepkids over with sicknesses. Always made me irate. :hissy:

That is very inconsiderate. I remember my MIL wanted to take my son when, when he was about a month old, into her school to show her grandson off. I just refused as schools, especially in the winter, are full of bugs and flus etc. I know children have to build up their immune systems but as a newborn, they are still very vulnerable.

awww debbie,

Id be just as angry as you, why are ppl so damn inconsiderate, hope you all especially little lucas get better soon hun.

You would have thought so but no, Daisy has the chicken pox atm, and aparently it is alot easier the younger they are... so far i have found this to be true, she was a bit grumpy for a few days before her 4 spots came! Now she is just as happy as ever. My other daughter had them when she was about 8 and it was a total nightmare!

They do get less spots too the younger they are, and once the spots are showing it isn't contagious anymore so you don't know when your kids will get them or who from.

The doctor said that when it is going around parents should have "chicken pox parties" cos like he said , younger = easier!

Daisy also hasn't been in contact with any kids or babies, the only thing we can think of is that OH's workmates kids have it, so it has been carried like that.....

Sorry for rambling on!

I know what you mean. Niamh has been ill for 2 whole weeks now because people keep coming round with bugs. She's on her 3rd cold without a break.

everybody loves a new baby don't they.. theyseem to forget all common sense and manners when there is a new baby!
xXx
