I'm hoping someone can help me as I am driving myself crazy! I had a period 2 weeks ago. It was shorter and lighter than usual but I would still call it a period. We decided to do ovulation test for the first time this month and as soon as my period was over I started getting very dark positives on them. I got positives for 7 days. I looked up why that may be and I found somewhere that said it could be pregnancy. So we went and bought dollar tree test and thought we'd check just in case. Thursday morning I took the first one and we were shocked to see two lines. I immediately called my doctor, because I have hyperthyroid and addison's disease, so it is important that we catch it as early as possible. He sent me for a blood test. At 3 o'clock that afternoon he called and told me the test was negative. He later told me that my hgc level was 2. Friday morning I took another hpt and it came out positive as well. This morning I took two more and they came out positive as well. These are not evaporation lines, they are very much positives. I have had a few months where I have swore I have seen lines when there was no line there. But these are so evident that I can take a picture, send it to a friend and they can see the lines on their phone. I don't know what to think. My husband and I are both going crazy, wondering if something is wrong or if the blood test couuld have been wrong. I have no insurance and am blessed with an amazing doctor through a clinic for people without insurance, however he knows nothing about this and he admits it. So it has left us grasping for straws. I told my husband if we have positives through the weekend I will call the health dept monday to get in, but it's going to be a long couple of days. I'm hoping someone has read something or experienced something that may help us! Thanks in advance!
