This is my 2nd pregnancy but my first ended in a miscarriage very early on so I've never done this before and I need some advice/information from some of you ladies who are more experienced with this.
I've been having an aching/pain in the very middle of my, basically, pubic bone combined with thigh pain and an achiness/pain in my hips. My Prenatal yoga teacher says it sounds like SPD and gave me some tips to cope with this. This part does feel muscular and I am not so concerned about it. I am not sure if any of the following has anything to do with this pain and it is just presenting itself in a different way or not...
BUT
I've also been having, off and on and not consistent at all, pain/cramping... a feeling that is really hard to describe. It can be painful enough that I have to stop and breathe through it and it usually goes away within a few minutes at most. It tends to come in different parts of my abdomen/pelvis... sometimes more up top, other times really down low. I can't quite figure out if it comes with a "tightening" or not... sometimes I do notice that I feel really tight and uncomfortable before it starts. I've also been getting a random aching in my vagina that may or may not come with any of the pain I described above as well as period like aching down there... not cramping so much as aching.
I have talked to my OB/GYN about it and they seem to think it is normal stretching/pressure/etc and/or gas. I am not convinced. I also don't feel like I am describing it well.
Gas has never felt like this but, then again, I have never been 30 weeks pregnant before . I do have a history of IBS and stomach issues so it definitely could be.... I just keep thinking maybe it is BH or actual contractions?
Last night I had a stint of it that was so bad, and longer than usual, that I almost called my doctor but figured if I could get some sleep and it settled down I wouldn't... I did manage to fall asleep eventually and it has settled down.
Should I mention it again at my next appointment, on the 31st, should I call when they are open again tomorrow, or is this just normal being this far along stuff? When I do go in for my next appointment are there things they need to check to make sure it isn't a sign of pre-term labor?
Any advice, guidance, etc would be great! I am just so confused!
Thanks for reading and also a Very Merry Christmas to you!!!
