So confused ... Low heartbeat & fetal neoplasm CYST

Hello ladies , well I was wondering if any of you have ever gone through this ..... On April 1 I went in for my 14 week check up and the Dr. Couldn't find a heartbeat so she took me in for an ultrasound and found out terrible news!! My baby's heartbeat was only Beating 47-50 BPM and showed signs of cyst an fluid along the neck and brain .... Have any of you ever experienced something like this or known of someone ?? If so did the baby survive ? I'm only 22 and its my first baby ...

Dr was suppose to schedule me for and amnio with a specialist the next day and still no appointment I call them everyday to see for my appointment but nothing. I feel like the drs don't see hope for my baby...

My baby has a cyst of fluid on its brain. Im also waiting for my appointment to find out more. I also do not know what the future holds for my baby.

I was out of the country for the last 3 weeks of her life without scanning so I am unsure what her heart rate was sorry xxx

My wee girls body gave up its fight at 16 weeks 2 days from a Congenital diaphramic hernia that comprimised her cardiac system and that was because of her Edwards syndrome. She was always small for dates, especially at the first dating scan. It was about 10 days out and I knew that was impossible, Did you have an earlier scan? and is baby at a good size for dates?

My baby is 2 weeks out on dates. I dont know what its heart rate is, i only know its got a heart beat x

My baby is great in size just the heart beat and the extra amniotic fluid.. I'm sorry about your little girl ... I hope you get your rainbow baby my husband and I are very scared to try and concieve again after this..

Hey LovelyFay...I went in at 11w1d today and my baby had a heart rate of 50 and was irregular. Any updates on you? The dr said it was either the start of a loss or possible a heart block?? I'm going for another u/s Tues.

Well I went in on Monday and doctor explained to me that the heart rate ranges anywhere from below 90 to about 150 soo all over the place. she also explained to me that she has seen many babies that once they take there first breath they start to get a regular heart beat and that now some babies can even use pacemakers for a certain period to help correct the problem. Im Getting an amnio done on Tuesday to check for any chromosome problems .

I'm so glad to hear your baby has a good heart rate back, that gives me some hope. I just really hope I have a fighter and that there is still a heartbeat on Tuesday, I'm so freaking scared!! I hope both of your testing brings good news!

Also, I just wanted to share...I had an amnio with my first daughter after some scary results from first trimester testing and all turned out fine. The procedure itself was SO much less scary than I had imagined, it hurt less than getting blood drawn. I hope that helps. Good luck!

I was just rereading and realized you didn't say that your baby's heart rate went back up, but that your dr said the heart rate can be all over the place. Sorry I misread that. Thanks for the link, it did make me feel a little better and I guess at this point a heart block would be what I'm hoping for as opposed to the alternatives. I'll be thinking of you guys Tuesday, I hope it brings some reassurance to all of us. xoxo

Well I had my amnio today and ultrasound things didn't look to good on the ultrasound dr can't confirm but it appears my baby is missing part of her heart the fourth chamber to be exact and we are most likely looking at DS . Dr was very honest and said that the combination of both is lethal for baby and will cause much suffering ;( !! Hubby and I have decided that if our baby is missig a part of its heart we will
Most likely Tx. It's so painful but I could see my baby was suffering her movement went down drastically ... And U/S tech confirmed are baby is a beautiful little girl ...

I'm so sorry !!! About our little one .. I know it must be so hard.. I know that making my decision was really difficult but it's the best choice in my opinion ... I hope you get your rainbow baby soon best of luck and sending positive vibes your way crazywater!!

Hi,
Almost the same happened to me as i had my cvs but the ultrasound showed the baby hadnt grown and the placenta doesnt look good anymore. Baby was hardly moving either. Doc thinks its triplody which is not compatible with life. We should get results thursday. When do u get yours? Xxx
