so down :( help? any advice or reassuring stories appreciated

hi there.
So I have a 25 month old beautiful DD and for about a year now I've been desperate for a baby. I waited as DH wasnt ready for another. In April we agreed we were ready and so I had my implanon removed. I had had it in for a year and didnt have a period the whole time I was on it. It's been 5 months...and I still dont have my periods back I'm so devastated. I'm not pregnant and my GP wont do anything for me She has said I need to wait 6 months...but I'm desperate. It's literally depressing me and she's still waiting another month before even looking into it

is there anything I can do to get it kickstarted? Or any positive stories from people who've had the same thing?

You can try using natural progesterone cream, rub it on twice a day for 5 days. Thats what I used to kick start my period when I would go months without having it.
