well im embarrassed about down below, im a day over due and i dont want down there looking a mess, everytime i shave i get a rash thing i dont want a rash there when im in labour any tips please, i no u going say you wont care when in llbour but i probs will haha xx

If you shave and then spray antiperspirant deodorant over the area it helps stop the rash....or use like a veet sensitive hair removal cream that will stop the rash too =)

I need the same advice.. until now I've been fine and really like 'pfft nothing is gonna stop me keeping it nice down there' but after my bath last night.. I simply CANNOT reach anymore bump is too big and too firm to even move about *sigh*

Considering waxing but apparently it hurts way more when your pregnant cos of the extra blood and stuff down there making it more sensitive.

Glad I don't have an OH at this point x

I think for OH's sake when i'm too big to do it myself he's gunna have too I've already told him he's got to shave my legs when i can't reach anymore. He'll be in trouble if he cuts me though haha.

I've never shaved, always waxed and i got one when i was just a few weeks pregnant [i didn't know i was pregnant at the time] but i've been putting my next one off for sooo long now, i'm scared its gna hurt way more and the more i put it off the worse i get. I'll def be going for one sometime soon tho, i can't stand the bush! and i'll let you know how painful it was..xx

Omg even if I was still with FOB there is no way I would ever trust him (or anyone else for that matter) with a sharp implement down there!! I'd be awful.. everytime he came near me I'd flinch away and probs end up just getting cut and then crying and then leaving it half hacked away at

I'm alright with my legs though which is all that really matters at this point cos it's all anyone sees thank god! x

I use Bikini Zone products, and they work really well for me. You can get shave gel and aftershave gel for under $10 at Wal-Mart.

I attached a picture of the shave gel. This is the stuff I used before I went into labor. I was induced, so I had time to prepare. But I was clean-shaven when Molly was delivered, and I felt so much better.

Ahh the days when I could reach to tidy up down there I managed a couple of times with a mirror but have given up on it for the time being...OH has offered to do it, but I can't quite get used to the thought of him down there with a sharp implement

In terms of the rash, I've always sworn by e45 lotion directly after shaving, works for me

I can't reach already my boy takes after my OH and is absolutely massive, so I no longer can reach nor see. Even with a mirror its very obscured. And like others have said, I wouldn't dare trust anyone else to do it, my OH cuts his own face accidentally for christ sake, and thats a flatter surface than my lady region right now
