At my 20 week scan they gave us a video of the ultrasound, but stopped recording before they checked the gender, since we were team yellow. So I didn't see the harm in watching it today to show my DD.

Well, in the actual ultrasound, I looked away when she was measuring the legs, just in case, and I guess I should have done the same thing today, because I saw this!

No denying we're team blue. :blue: :dohh:

Wow, yes that's ALL boy!! How exciting! :)

Congratulations on your blue bump!

Thanks. Honestly, I'm a little disappointed, because I was 99% sure that we were having a girl and had gotten really excited about the thought of another little girl. :( Plus, I thought it would be so nice for my DD to have a little sister who would still be pretty close in age. So maybe it's for the best that I found out now, so I have some time to come to terms with it.

No denying that is a little boy... I am sure you will adjust quickly to the idea of another boy and just think that you son will have a brother close in age to grow up with. Congratulations on being team blue :)

Haha he is definitely all boy! Very exciting. And I agree with PP - your DS is going to have a brother to play with who will be very close in age. He's gonna be thrilled!

Congratulations hun. Definitely team blue. Your baby boy will be best buds with his older brother.

Thanks for the kind words, ladies. I never had a sister and I always wanted one so badly, but instead have 3 brothers. I guess I just feel desperate to give my DD what I never had and always wanted. I know it sounds silly, and I should just be focusing on how nice it will be for DS to have a little brother.

First off - that ultrasound is adorable ;)

Second - I totally get what you mean by wanting your DD to have a sister. I have a sister but no brothers, and I feel like I'm missing out on something great in life. I definitely want to have at least one boy and girl, but ideally I would like two boys and two girls! Are you planning on having any more after 3?

Congrats on your baby!!

Awww Spiffy congrats! You're story of how you found out is a little funny, but I am sorry that it wasn't when or how you would have liked to. You shouldn't feel silly at all for having just a tiny moment of disappointment, wishing your sweet girl had a sisterly bond is very loving.

I had a feeling. :) congrats!! You're giving your son a special bond. And your daughter will have lots of experience looking after littler ones keeping them in line! ;)

He he no denying! Congratulations. It'll be lovely for your son to have a brother to :) I have three sisters and sometimes I wish they were brothers lol!

Wow what an amazing scan photo, sorry you found out this way xx

I have an older sister and she stinks LOL! Don't worry, she'll love having 2 little brothers!
Congrats on the little boy!

Aww congratulations on your boy x

I confess I was a little disappointed when I found out I was team blue too as I really wanted a sister for dd. But now I have had a little time I am really pleased we will have one of each.

Yep-that's a boy alright! :) congrats!

:haha: bless, that is certainly a baby boy you have in there! Congratulations and welcome to team blue!!! :)

Aww congrats on the little boy, sorry you found out the way you did, but I'm sure your little girl will love having two brothers :)

Congrats on team blue.
I am the eldest of 3 siblings, I have 2 brothers who are 4.5 and 6 years younger than me. As a teenager they annoyed me but I love them to bits, we are great friends. I never would have wanted a sister but I did have a girl cousin very close in age who I played with a lot.
Xx

Congrats on team :blue: I have a feeling this will happen to us at our anomoly scan next week as we want to stay :yellow: :haha:
