I asked my friend who works in a school what happens and she said as soon as u are accepted information and letters come out to you- with school info, uniform, starting procedures etc x

We had to accept the place and then they contacted us.

Ring up the school to accept the place and then in due course they will send out all the information you will need. I usually send out the info for new parents in my school in May as it takes a while to draw up the class lists etc (have to take loads of things into consideration and it is such a headache of a job for teachers: girls/boys, summer/spring/autumn born, SEN, EAL etc etc).

It is usually early June in my school when I do a meeting for parents where they can ask any questions, have another look round, buy uniform, find out about dinners, starting information etc.
