For four days now iv been floored. My nose is completely blocked. And I mean completely blocked! Doctor prescribed steroid nose spray that's doing absolutely nothing at all. My ears are constantly making a tinnitus noise and my head just feels so bunged up and full. I feel terrible. Completely draining me.
I'm also taking amoxicillin incase its sinusitis but feeling no effect from them neither.
I have lupus so my immune system is rubbish anyway but surely a common cold cant be causing me to be this congested? I have my section in 2 and week and 6 days and so wanted to enjoy the final weeks of my pregnancy but seems my health had other plans. Feel so sorry for myself. And my poor kids who are stuck in too. The weather is gorgeous and its half term and there sat in there bedrooms on there computers because I can barely stand for long without feeling like my head will explode or I'll pass out

Is there a decongestant that is ok to take while pregnant? I found that boiling water then adding Vick’s to it and inhaling the steam temporarily works. I have constant ringing in my ears and it drives me insane at times so I feel for you!

Oh no sorry your feeling so rubbish !!

I had a blocked nose for days over the Xmas period and developed tinnitus too ! GP gave me a steroid nose and ear spray both did nothing ! Went to see a ENT few weeks back who didn’t know why it was happening . Have to wait until after baby is born to see if it clears up hoping it does cause damn it’s so annoying !

Hoping it’s just a pregnancy thing for us all!

Rest up , I’m sure your kids will be fine probably enjoy playing on their games more than anything else know what they are like!
