I think this is my first bragging post on here, but I am so proud of her!
She has always been a good sleeper, she went all night occasionally at 4 weeks and consistently by about 8 I think. She has been in her crib in our room but is a wiggler so recently we have found the crib to be too small, so last night we put her in her cot bed in her own room.
We put her down with a few toys (a flashy rattle, a crinkly teddy and a soft rattle) and put her in a sleeping bag, expecting her only to stay for 5-10 minutes before getting bored and crying. We even turned the light off as she has never been left in the dark (we normally leave our bedroom light on until we go to bed)
... We heard her plating with her toys for about half an hour, then silence. No cries, no nothing. She was on her angelcare monitor so we weren't too worried, so we went to check and she was fast asleep!
The wee mite slept right through from 10:30pm-8am, without even needing us to replace the dummy! We woke at 8 because the monitor picked her up cooing away and crinkling her teddy! Although we did find that she had managed to spin 180 degrees so wasn't "feet to foot"
Although I'm mega proud of her I'm also so sad! We still have the crib assembled in our room, my OH repeatedly checked the crib during the night, forgetting she wasn't there! The newborn stage is over!
