Went to the bathroom after a cheeky nap and noticed a small amount of pinkish blood after I wiped! Been to matty baby's kicking away heart beat is grand and blood pressure is fine! They decided to scan me however as we're away on holiday Thursday for almost 3 weeks they want to check my cervix and plecenta etc fingers crossed it's all well and another cheeky peeps at baby! However as much as I'm telly myself it's all fine there been no more blood since either it's still a terrifying time. My scan I'm away back for is at 3.30pm so it's just a waiting game just now. Will update once home

Good luck hope all is okay :hugs:

Well finally got on to up-date it all looked really serious this afternoon had a scan thought there was a big pocket of blood and there was a cone shape in my cervix that looked like it was starting to open so it all looked very bleak .... In hospital for 24 hour obs and consultant looked at scans as they thought odd I'm well in myself and baby's happy and kicking away nothing is flagging up as wrong. They then finally after hours of tears and thinking I'm losing my baby decided that the pocket of blood is in fact possibly a mucus plug (normal) and the cervix didn't look like its opening but could just be the shape due to previous section. Obv continuing overnight and I've had one steroid injection for safety and another tomorrow (holy cow there some painful) but scan tomorrow and fingers crossed all is the same and there's nothing wrong just me being rather different this time around haha. Please keep everything crossed.

That sounds like a scary time. Keeping everything crossed that all is well x

Gosh that sounds terrifying hun sending you hugs.

Having regular checks overnight now just had second one all appears well and as should be! I may need a glucos test at 28 weeks due to sugar in urine what next lol

glad all seems to be okay

Glad it all seems ok!
I have to have a glucose test at 28weeks too because im overweight...! I had 2 in my last pregnancy 28weeks and 32weeks - both came back as normal but seriously, take someone with you to chat with or a really good good coz its the most boring thing ever!!!! X

All is not as well as hoped the tunnelling of the cervix is looking fine today all more rounded however the blood they suspected is blood now that could be absorbed which is fab OR it could all come out causing premature labour! Also the separate issue is low laying placenta they can't see my uterine scan so unsure is the vains from placenta has attached to it! It's all looking scary and like I may not make full term due to this all. Another steroid injection today and home to rest up! Canceled my holidays and 4D scan so gutted and scared and confused my minds a mess!

Oh hun :hugs: sending you all my best wishes that it will all turn out ok :hugs: :hugs:

I know that this all has to be scary. Thinking of you and hope you keep us posted and that everything turns out okay :hugs:

Thinking of you. They'll keep a close eye on you and hopefully have prevented any issue from happening x

Sending positive thoughts your way! I know that has to be scary! Just rest and keep that little baby in as long as possible! :hugs:

Well I'm home and devastated our scans canceled but doing my best for baby there concerned my cervix had slightly shortened from yesterday's scan to today! But so far no blood or contractions I've had my steroid course now so just a waiting game! Appointment Saturday with midwife again baby check etc and scan Wednesday to monitor for any changes and possibly sent to Aberdeen hospital it's just a scary time right now and I'm so great full for this site
