some help please.. got no replies in TTC

Hey ladies wondering if anyone can shed some light onto my situation..

i had a mmc 40 days ago which resulted in a d&c. Me and OH started trying again exactly 2 weeks afterwards (22nd) and i still havent had any sign of . I had sore boobs about 2 weeks ago and then they went after a few days. Normally i have sore boobs a few days before AF but ive still not had a period.

I was told at the hospital that if i didnt have a period 6 weeks later then to see my doctor. but since we have been TTC should i take a pregnancy test?

the question i would like some help with is.. how many days after a d&c did anyone have their first period?

Hi hun so nsorry for your loss, after both my mc (one being with a d&c ) i got af about 28-30 days later. did you do a pg test after your d&c to make sure your levels of hcg had dropped back to 0?
i would do a hpt and see if you are pregnant again.

Yeah, I would do another test huni because id of thought your HCG levels would of tappered off back to normal by now xx

no i didnt do a pregnancy test after the d&c i wish i had done now! my HCG levels at the time of the d&c were 28000 maybe thats why it has taken a while for my levels to drop back down?

argh i dunno... i think ill take a test by the end of the week if theres still no period and if thats negative then see my doctor.

Hi I'm the same situation as you. I had natural miscarriage same time as u had d& c.

I tested recently & got bfn, but no AF, am around day 39 now.

I never had any bloods done so haven't a clue what my levels were.

Thursdat, Sat & yesterday a couple of times when I wiped I had
a load of CM that had a bit of blood in it but no AF.

I'm kinda hoping its implantation, but I think my hormones are screwed.

Its now really getting me down as I want a period/ bfp, and I'm stuck not knowing what the hecks going on.

When I was seen @ hospital they told me nothing, just that I'd had m/c.

Really don't know when to go to GP. Was thinking of waiting til 7 weeks. Ijust don't know how long to wait. I know they can give you a progestrone tab to regulate hormones & bring on AF, but don't know what to do for the best.

I'm so confused I just want my hormones/ body back to normal then we can ttc in earnest

It might be worth testing before you go see GP.

thanks caroline! i havent had any bleeding at all not even a pinprick. its 41 days now itll be the 6 week mark tomorrow. im just going to get tested in the doctors i think because if i go in and say i still havent had a period he will say "have you done a pregnancy test" which i havent so he will probably do one there and then for me. like you i think ill leave it until its been 7 weeks and if nothing then see the gp.

ps if its any consolidation i think my hormones are screwed too

I'm gonna try & get appointment for next Tuesday when it'll be just over 6.5 weeks. I'm so weepy its unbelievable, I'm either biting someones head off or in floods of tears. It was really quiet at work this pm so I got my patients transfered into other clinics & came home. The slightest thing that goes wrong and I'm ready to cry. Its like I've got a quadruple dose of PMT.

The not knowing is just adding to it. I had a tiny bit of spotting again last night, but so far today nothing.

Lets hope we can get something sorted 'cos this is really messing my head up.

so sorry for your loss.

It took me 11 weeks to have a proper AF but it can vary so much between people.

well i did a pregnancy test last night and it was so i guess i either havent ovulated yet or ive ovulated and not been caught. but still no af

you may not even ov this month, I read somewhere you don't ov until your body is ready, so it can be a couple of cycles b4 you ov.

I think af is here for me, spotting more this am , and bleeding a little this afternoon, slightly as not pg , but as at least my hormones are settling. Ironically I phoned & made an appoitnment this morning to go see dr on Tues. Will phone & cancel it tomorrow or Fri once I'm certain af is here.

I'll send her to you in a couple of days & hopefully I won't be seeing her for awhile after that.
