Some info from HV I thought I'd share...

I saw my HV yesterday and asked her how much milk my LO one be having, as I knew that the tins are only a 'guide' etc....

Anyways, she said they have 2x - 2.5x their current weight.

So, my LO yesterday weighed 9lb 4oz, so she should have between 18 - 24oz.

It will roughly be 30 - 37.5oz.

Obviously, I wouldn't worry if Amelia isn't feeding in this range.

I'm no HV, and I'm only re-laying what mine told me! I had no idea how much Maisie was really supposed to be having.

I feed her on demand, and she has whatever she wants! Sometimes its more, other times its less!

If anyone does find out that what I have been told is incorrect, please inform me ! lol!!

Haha it says she should be having 5-6 oz every hours hours and 30-37 in total.

She has 8oz every 4 hours

That's pretty close. She obviously like a bigger amount less often. My LO prefers smaller amounts more often. He's also about 15lbs.

I've heard this exct thing too. It was very helpful for me when we were starting out and I didn't know if he ws hungry or crabby!

mine says 20-25oz a day, 3-4oz every 4 hours. I wish!! she has 4-5oz every 3 hours. little fatty lol xxxx

nicole is 16lbs so she should be having 32 - 40oz. im lucky if she has 48oz min sometimes it goes up to 54oz, shes a hound lol

I heard that as well, though Hannah was always under the amount she was supposed to have it is nice to know the guidelines but (just a general aside for everyone) try not to get to wrapped up in them. If your baby is gaining weight and having enough wet and dirty diapers than he/she is getting enough

I spent way to many hours worrying over Hannah not having what was supposed to be enough milk I'm hoping that next time I don't get so stressed over it

Georgia is 9lb 2oz and has 24oz in 24hrs so just right.

what is Nicole's weight gain like? Jayden feeds all the time and he now weighs 17lb4oz xx

Thats about right actually jayden has about 40-42oz a day and he is 17lb4 now x
