some questions and ideas needed pls!!!!

hi

me and df get married in38 days, and I need to pick your brains.

1st off we live n the wales/chester border and need some cheap chair covers, anybody know of anybody???

2nd, we have really big vases for centerpices, originally we where going to put fish in them, but have now decided against it, but havnt a clue what to do... anybody have any ideas, we dont really want flowwers as they work out expensive. pics welcome of your ideas.

and 3rd, we have decided to use our commitment rings for wedding rings, they are a few years old now, and have wear and tear n them, any ideas hw to get them back to lovely and shiney.

i also added cameras to my centre pieces so the guests cud take pictures themselves.

depending what kind of thing ur doing u cud also add party poppers and things like that.

i also like the idea of candles.

if u take ur rings to a jewlers they will be able to sort them out for u, have no idea about price tho

u cud fill the vase with coloured shredded paper and glittery hearts in the theme colours of ur wedding

i wanted something different like party poppers ect as centre pieces but oh wanted his gran to make flower ones, they were nice but i wasnt happy about them.

There is a fab shop in cardiff who does chair covers I got mine from there. Gonna have a google to find them for you.

I like the idea of tissue paper and sparkles though.

You can put your rings into the jewellers to be cleaned. I had my engagement ring re dipped (white gold) and cleaned before our wedding and it didn't cost to much so cleaning should be to expensive.

Should have mentioned the ppl in shotton do all the set up etc for you on the morning of the wedding.

I was going to do my own the night before - but NH have another wedding on so they wouldn't let me I was gutted as I thought I was going to have to be up at 5am to do them on the morning.

Dot also mentioned that the functions can be arranged a couple of nights in advance so even if you want to do the covers yourself the night before there might be a last min booking meaning you cant access the room the night before.
